Ageratum Patina Blue, or Patina Purple - 3.5 inch pots ? This ageratum variety exhibits excellent garden performance. It is free flowering without cycling or burning out in the heat and sun. It is easy to keep looking great as it needs no dead-heading. The well-branched "no-pinch" mounding habit makes for a full and bushy plant. Starts blooming early and continues throughout the summer. Grows 10-12 inches tall by 12-16 inches wide.
Anagallis Angie Blue, or Angie Orange - 3.5 inch pots ? Vivid blooms provide striking color all season long. It has great appeal in the garden or garden center. Angie has excellent heat tolerance and an upright plant habit. Angie blue is a deep blue almost purple while Angie orange is a beautiful rich burnt orange color. In our trials it showed a mounding habit and grew 8- 12 inches tall by 14-20 inches wide. It is beautiful in baskets or containers.
Argyranthemum Glory® Big White - 3.5 inch pots ? Glory Big White is early and rich flowering. It has a more vigorous habit and large flowers. Glory will be this year's standard white Marguerite Daisy.
Bacopa Abunda Pink - .5 inch pots ? Abunda has the best heat tolerance of any bacopa on the market. Lots of big, beautiful blooms over dark green leaves on trailing plants deliver high impact and great all-season shows in baskets and mixed combos. Pink has a slightly upright habit. Abunda grows 8-12 inches tall with an 8-12 inches spread.
Calibrachoa MiniFamous Double Pink, Double Yellow - 3.5 inch pots ? A breeding breakthrough! The first and only double Calibrachoa on the market. They display a semi-trailing habit with a medium to high vigor. They branch easily giving a full, bushy plant. MiniFamous doubles are perfectly suited to larger pots, baskets and mixed planters. These doubles grow like any Calibrachoa in full sun (they have very good heat tolerance) with average watering.
Coleus Indian Summer - 3.5 inch pots -This hybrid coleus is easy to care for. The multi-color leaves are earthtone red, green and brown. The brighter the light, the deeper the colors. Grows 18-24 inches tall by 14-16 inches wide in the shade.
Dahlia Mystic Dreamer or Mystic Desire - Zinnia ZaharaŽ Yellow ? 4.5 inch pots ? Mystic Dahlias are one of the easiest flowers to grow. Dahlias are strong plants and prolific bloomers. Their vibrant colors and longevity as a cut flower make them a favorite. Mystic Dreamer's delicate pink petals form a ring around the magenta center of this Dahlia flower. The flower petals are set off against the flower's nearly black center and the plant's dark foliage. Dreamer grows to 20-24 inches tall. Mystic Desire's magnificent deep scarlet flowers and contrasting foliage will stop you in your tracks. This low-maintenance beauty reaches 20-24 inches tall. The Mystic series intriguing contrast of dark foliage and intense flower color makes a powerful statement in the garden. These plants are great in borders or pots. Dahlias prefer part sun.
Diplandenia Rio Hot Pink or Deep Red - 4.5 pots ? Stunning 3 inch trumpet shaped hot pink or red flowers adorn the controlled vines. The growing habit is considered compact-upright with little to no vining tendencies. They flower all summer long and are great in hot, humid climates. They reach 20-28 inches tall by 10-12 inches wide. Rio is excellent for patio containers in full to part sun.
Dorotheanthus Mezoo - 3.5 inch pots ? This variegated green with white edged succulent is accented by dime-sized deep red flowers nestled between leaves at the ends of vines. It is a vigorously trailing plant that is great in hanging baskets or draping over containers. Adapted to a wide range of temperatures and moisture levels, high or low pH, it is very easy to grow. Mezoo is an excellent addition to combination baskets or planters as it only gets 6-8 inches tall and grows 18-20 inches wide or long. It was a trial favorite across the country.
Euphorbia Silver Fog - 3.5 inch pots ? A cloud of tiny white flowers hover over the wiry stems and narrow, oval deep green leaves. Silver Fog received more votes in our trials than other Euphorbia varieties. This type of euphorbia blooms in sun or shade, has no disease problems, and flowers all summer long. They are perfect in mixed containers or in garden beds. Very much like Euphorbia 'Diamond Frost'.
Geraniums Calliope Dark Red - 4.5 inch, 8, # 1 pots, 10 inch HB, 12 inch HB ? Rich, deep red flowers adorn Geranium Calliope Dark Red. The elegant color of the flowers, it's dark green leaves and mounded habit, perfectly capping the pots it was planted in, is what attracted all the attention. Not only did this geranium receive the "Best Zonal Geranium" designation, it was voted as the overall "Best In Show" at Colorado State University last summer. It also received awards from other organizations and was nominated for a Medal of Excellence. This was certainly an outstanding geranium and deserving of all the awards it has received. It was absolutely beautiful in trials, holding up well even through the heat of the summer. Calliope was named for the goddess of epic poetry in Greek Mythology. She inspired heroic or epic deeds and stories and this geranium is very inspiring too. It is a new breakthrough in Geranium breeding- a cross between ivy and zonal types, giving it the dense spreading habit of ivies and all the good characteristics of zonals. Calliope Dark Red has a mounding habit, growing 16-20 inches wide and about 12-14 inches tall. The large, true dark red flower blossoms resist burning in full sun. This very versatile plant makes beautiful hanging baskets, does great in large pots - alone or mixed with other plants, or in flower beds. The deep, rich red flowers combine fabulously with pure pink petunias or really make a statement with yellow zinnias or marigolds.
Geranium Americana® Pink Mega Splash - 4.5 inch pots - This is an exciting new color for the fabulous Americana Geranium line. The light pink petals have a cherry red center. This one has the same great qualities as the rest of the Americana series. A compact growers with bold flower color and outstanding landscape performance. Great in beds or containers.
Geranium, Ivy- White Compact Cascade - 4.5 inch pots ? Cascade ivies are vigorous and carefree, requiring minimal maintenance. They provide a waterfall of color when used in window boxes and hanging baskets. They have a slightly smaller leaf and flower size than Blizzards.
Libertia Taupo Blaze - 4.5 inch pots ? A stunning new accent plant. A true blaze of stunning colors from deep greens to red, orange, and yellow! Moist, fertile soils. Full sun to light shade. Profusions of pure white star-like flowers from mid spring.
Lobelia Hot® Tiger Blue/White - 3.5 inch pots ? This Lobelia is definitely HOT! Beautiful blue flowers with a white center. The white center has a few blue "claw marks" on it giving it a unique appearance. Very heat tolerant with good growth habit. Fabulous in hanging baskets and mixed containers.
Nasturtium Banana Split Yellow - 3.5 inch pots - Literally good enough to eat, this irresistible patio variety will serve you up a summer-long display of orange-flamed yellow blooms that make an ultra-stylish garnish and salad ingredient. Plant requires at least 4 to 6 hours of sun per day. Fairly cold hardy, it will tolerate down to 35 degrees.
Osteospermum Blazing Daisy Sunset Orange, Moonshine Yellow - 4.5 inch pots ? Blazing Daisy will set a new standard for heat tolerance and vigor. Both cold and heat tolerance make this an excellent performer in Colorado conditions. Great in mixed containers or alone in pots. 'Blazing Daisy Moonshine Yellow' is a highly rated new variety. It has a dense spreading and semi-trailing habit, growing to a height of 10 inches and covered with bright yellow flowers. 'Blazing Daisy Sunset Orange' is a bright Cantaloupe orange color with blue centers with the same plant habit and height as yellow. Grow these in full sun with average water.
Ptilotus Joey - 4X pots ? This is truly a breeding breakthrough. A native to central Australia, Ptilotus offers exceptional beauty, and is heat and drought tolerant. Luminous, silver green foliage is topped by large conical spikes of feathery flowers. The 3-4 inch bottle brush flower spikes start out a glistening silver color and gradually darken to a neon pink color near the tips. Grow in full sun with moderate to dry watering.
Torenia Torrie Blue - 3.5 inch pots ? The showy, large bicolor flowers of Torrie continue all summer long. This new series of Torenia has great branching and dense mounding plant habit. Torrie grows 8-10 inches tall by 18-24 inches wide in semi-shade. Torenia is perfect in hanging baskets and container gardens.
Colocasia Blue Hawaii - #2 pots ? A combination of large green leaves with prominent bluish-purple veins, an undulating bluish-purple margin, matte finish and semi-glossy dark burgundy colored stems. Height 48 inches.
Colocasia Diamond Head - #2 pots ? This is another variety from the 'Royal Hawaiian' series of Colocasia. Diamond Head has huge leaves that grow to 18 inches x 24 inches long.
